Singapore Ice Kachang With Kiwi Topping

First of all, HAPPY BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE! :)

And, hopefully it's not too late, SELAMAT HARI RAYA AIDIL FITRI FOR ALL MY MOSLEM FRIENDS! :)

So.... this is the second local dish came into my mind would be great with kiwi fruit, in conjunction with the activity initiated by Zespri kiwifruit - Zespri Makanmania, where food bloggers are invited to come up with a couple of ways of incorporating Zespri Kiwifruit to local delicacies. This time is ice kachang! :)

This refreshing dessert is so popular in Singapore that every tourist here has to give it a try!
It comes with many different kind of toppings actually, not sure if there's kiwi topping available. I never really checked it out. I just felt that it would work great. And oh yes, it did! :)

Here below is the ingredients I used. No specific quantity. All are based on one's preference :)

Adding in all ingredients - sweetened red beans, grass jelly, atap seed, creamed corn, and not to forget diced kiwi

Top up with crushed ice, drizzle with brown sugar syrup, red syrup, green syrup, evaporated milk, sweet condensed milk, and last but not least, scoop a dollop of diced kiwi on top - ready to serve :)

Mix mix mix and ready to eat :)

Sweet yummy refreshing dessert :)

  1. I love this! Must have my ice kacang if I see it in high tea buffet, topped with a scoop of ice-cream makes it even more delicious!
