Chewy Dark Chocolate Chips Cookies

I always prefer chewy than crunchy chocolate chips cookies - so does my family (even though we will never say no to crunchy ones too keke...)

What you need:

280g butter
290g caster sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
340g all purpose flour
90g unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2tsp salt
360g semisweet chocolate chips (I had some M&M chocolate buttons in the fridge - added in to make it colorful for my kids :P)

Preheat oven 175degC
Cream together butter and sugar til light and fluffy (high speed around 10mins)
Beat in eggs one at a time, stir in vanilla extract
Sift together flour, cocoa, baking powder, fold in to the creamed mixture
Add in chocolate chips, mix well
Drop dough by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets
Bake 8-10minutes depending on the cookie size
Allow to cool

  1. I like your blog ! it uses easily available ingredients and is quite possible to make , else some people use very costly rare stuff which is hard to get in a normal market !
